I've tutored before, not professionally, but I help various friends, and friends of friends, with their science related curriculum. My ACT score 4 years ago was a 28. Thus far, I have one more year of undergraduate study after this school year until I graduate. I have taken most of my core classes such as General Chemistry I and II, Organic Chemistry I and II, All general biology classes such as Zoology and Botany. Moreover, I've taken Biochemistry, Physics, Calculus I and II as well as the various general education requirements set by my university. I have also been taking French Language classes since I was a freshman in high school and have taken 21 credits of upper level French courses. I've accomplished a 3.7 GPA thus far while working, which I believe to be a feat in itself. I want to tutor because I want to become a college or university professor when I am finished with graduate school and hopefully a post-doctorate program.

Hobbies
Throughout the time that has been my college experience, I tend to do things that relax me as school can be overwhelming at times. I like to play piano, paint, draw, sculpt, etc. Anything that is a creative outlet is extremely satisfying after a week of class or so. I like to run as well, it is another great way to keep in physical shape as well as mentally. Also I like to hang out with friends frequently and participate in several organizations that I have joined throughout my time at the university. Another reason why I think I would make a good tutor is because I like to talk and to explain things. Not many of my friends know much about science and I like to talk about things that I come across, or think is cool in class. So, I end up explaining in full detail to my friends certain things. They might not understand it because of their backgrounds in fields unrelated to mine, but they find it interesting nonetheless.
