Will be taking Evolution and Ecology at SVSU this fall. My position as a tutor at SVSU has been the most rewarding job I've ever had. It is my job to thoroughly inform, affirm, and encourage the students who approach me with their questions. As I regularly interact with a wide variety of students - from non-traditional to international - tutoring gives me the opportunity to practice communicating the same idea with different methods so that my words may have the greatest impact. I have had the privilege of tutoring a handful of students who have gone on to become tutors themselves. I am very passionate about learning - few things make me happier than watching as a difficult concept finally clicks into place for a student.
